I don't want to say I'm a Sorkin-aplogist, but I am extremely tolerant of most of his his go-to tropes. Oddly, I think this makes me even more appreciative of how good this is.

Extremely accurate. I wish they could have gotten Rob Lowe or someone to cameo.

The part at the end that says "Bestowed upon you by Aaron Sorkin" is the part that put it over the top for me.

Weird, I dislike Sorkin and like Schumer so I thought this would be much better than it was. It seems to hit all the right buttons but didn't get more than a smile or two from me.

Josh Charles was an excellent choice. He definitely still has the cadence down.

"[A] woman's life is worth nothing unless she's making a great man greater." So perfect. I wasn't a big fan of Schumer's stand-up, but I really like her show

Does this one work better for you?

I've never been a fan of her stand-up material, so I didn't tune into her show for the first season, but the mixed sketches/interviews/brief standup bits format works quite nicely, and the writing in the first couple of episodes this season has been excellent.

DAMN IT I was about to say the same thing! Also, "a woman's life is worth nothing unless she's making a great man greater". I like a lot of Aaron Sorkin shows but that was spot effing on.

This just makes me miss Sports Night.

"a woman's life is worth nothing unless she's making a great man greater".

I'm just going to quote it again because it is the exact reason I said I was tolerant of "most" of Sorkin's tics.

This just makes me miss Sports Night.

Is the ability to access Sports Night with the touch of a button on my television the only reason I have Hulu Plus? No. Is it a reason? yes.

Sports Night is the best Sorkin show because it provides him with fewer opportunities to be unbearably pompous, and the ones it does provide him with can only last 20 minutes.

You don't need any words after "Sports Night is the best Sorkin show".

Props to Josh Charles for leaving a killer show while at the peak of his character, but I really hope he has something lined up other than doing FunnyOrDie videos for the next 18 months...

Josh Charles is kind of famous for not enjoying being famous/not enjoying trading work just to be working. He took like ten years off after Sports Night, on purpose. I wouldn't be surprised if he does something similar this time around.

I love that video and the only thing that would improve it would be a Josh Molina cameo.

I haven't watched enough Sorkin to pick up on most of the jokes, but being pointed toward this helped me find "Hello M'Lady" and "A Chick Who Can Hang", which have brightened up my entire week.

Something about Schumers brand of sexually explicit self loathing keeps me cracking up every time she says fingerbang.
