Amazing! It even has a good reason for the orange/blue contrast.

And note also, at the end, the winner is Still Alive.

I almost never watch videos due to laziness, but I am glad I watched this.

Even if this was just the drawing-in-the-lab parts and none of the basketball parts, it would still be amazing.

Great post! Thanks for including the How It's Made video, it's really interesting. Love that they scanned one of the actors with a Kinect to make a CG stunt double.

Besides, the whole "Portal Gag" thing was created way back in the 1950s by Chuck Jones for Looney Tunes.

The effects were all excellent, and really well thought out, but the best part for me was the guys figuring out the shots. There was a couple of mic-drop moments that made me laugh, because that's how science happens in my head.

Two guys, arguing in a room, one proves something, and then walks around chest-pounding and talking shit. Because motherfuckin' science, yo.

Direct link to the youtube video, because here in Australia popsci.com redirects to popsci.com.au and loses the original link, and then the popsci search can't find the story:

Gelatin: "Amazing! It even has a good reason for the orange/blue contrast."

Yes, because the game the portals came from used that color scheme.
