The very first one showing when I click through (the Pac-Man one) is pretty widely discredited as apocryphal, but there's no other indication that this is supposed to be some sort of fake trolling-type thing, so I'm just gonna go with "not particularly choosy"

I've been spending too much time on Tumblr, because it took me about 5 or 6 posts to realize that these weren't jokes

I see these passed around Tumblr all the time. Sometimes as "oh cool, didn't know that" and sometimes as "this is totally bullshit."

I found it somewhat amusing that they used a British "red top" tabloid as a source, so I googled for a real source and quickly discovered that the tumblr is just reposting stuff from reddit's TIL forum, and that the redditors of course called bullshit on the Don Johnson story; it's a story from HST's book Kingdom of Fear.
