Eric Andrew Lewis has created a fun, novelty website that converts pictures into emoji mosaics. It has received some press-release-style coverage at Gizmodo, Cosmopolitan, TIME, and other sites.
Booooooom covered it best by immediately running great works of art through it.
Jeff Hamada writes:
"I βcreatedβ these emoji versions of classic artworks and it was fun for about 10 seconds. Is it pointless and dumb? Yes. But are you gonna try it out with one of the hundred selfies on your phone right now? Thatβs what I thought."
