"I am NOT a comedian. I am a HUMORIST."

...can't tell if kidding.

> HUMORIST

Which subcategory does he specialize in?
Could be blood, yellow bile, black bile, or phlegm.

We're in Canada. I fixed it for you.

Well to be precise, he's not a standup comedian.

Make sure to listen to the end, the last joke is great.

My grandmother told me that joke when I was pretty young. Still gives me a chuckle.

I just like that you haven't apologized for forgetting to post a link to the self-serve apology generator

This is great! I want to listen to/watch his entire body of work now.

As an American, I think I may be missing some cultural context in the first joke: what is a "band office employee"?

That Father's Day joke is ... something else. It is both offensive and offensively unfunny!

Here's the first response I got on Google - it seems relevant.

I heard 'banned office employee' which I'm taking in context as a regionalism for somebody who's been laid off.

"Band Office Employee" == "Tribal Council Employee" in USAian terms.

Aha, that makes more sense. Thanks!

A humourist (could be a more Canadian tradition) think Stephen Leacock.

I call myself a humorist rather a comedian because to me, "comedian" implies performance, either stand-up comedy or acting. For what it's worth.

I heard this the other day on q. I thought Adrienne Wong's apology generator was better as a piece.
Listen for her synopsis and for Shad (the q host) trying out the generator, using his example of being offended that Dr. Oz wears scrubs on his TV show. (Starts at 6:40.)

In this context it's very meta... One of the reasons why First Nations represent some of Canada's more interesting and cutting edge thinking.

I present to you the only First Nations joke that is still acceptable:

Did you hear about the Indian who drank a thousand cups of tea? They found him dead in his tea-pee.

naw, the snow joke is much better
