National Geographic's most famous cover girl found! In 1984, National Geographic ran a story on Afghanistan, featuring a photo of a 13-year-old Afghani girl with piercing green eyes. The April issue features a photo of the same woman, 17 years later, whose identity was verified with iris scan technology borrowed from the FBI.

media, i don't mean to sound condescending or anything, but i've found that scanning the past few days before posting anything helps me decide what to put up and not put up. in addition to searching, that might help keep n-posts down even more.
