Is it possible they were smoking real weed?

They say she has a license and it looks like a legit dispensary. And Ice Cube probably don't give a fuck.

the end shot at Popeye's made me google how tall conan is. Boy has google gotten pretty good.

I'm no expert, but my friend says that doesn't look like tobacco smoke to him.

That whole thing was great, but I completely lost it when Kevin Hart was pointing out the ridiculousness of trying to be hard while utilizing an old school window crank. Oh, and she's right, Popeye's is the best fast food.

Really? That first link ... it says: Tupac tried to get into the back seat, but he was wearing his seat belt.

This information is useless to me. Is it verified or just a number he's provided? Are we talking Max Morning Height or whatever he was last time he wandered into a doctor's office after a long day? 6'4" is also suspiciously round. I'd need to see the significant digits.

Google popping up a random-but-plausible number just won't do. I demand more integrity in my celebrity height measurements.

Ha. 'Celebrity' and 'Integrity' in the same sentence...

My first car, which I loved very deeply, had automatic windows all of which had probably worked back when my grandparents bought it the year I was born but which did not by the time it came to me. Actually, the only one that didn't work was the driver's side window so we used to go through the KFC drive-through in reverse so whomever was in the passenger's seat could pick up the food and pay.

I know, Copronymous. I'm like, how tall is Conan compared to the average ground level of the Maldives? Wolfram Alpha ftw

What is the specific heat of Conan O'Brien?

Wait, Is this Conan Prime or Bigger Conan?

I mean the specific heat, not the general heat. I want it verified, not just a number he's provided, not like Max Morning heat. I need significant figures here. I want this heat as specific as possible.

Earth-2 Conan.

I'm no expert, but I'm eyeballing Conan at roughly 65% water since he's so lean, so I think we're looking at (and I can't stress enough that this is a rough, rough estimate) 3150 J/kg.°C

If anyone can get me more data on the chemical breakdown of Conan's flesh, I may be able to add some precision.

See this is what I'm complaining about; I ask for a specific heat and you give me a general heat. Disrespectful.

It should be noted that this is kind of a sequel to the three of them sharing a Lyft ride, which is also hysterical.

All I can tell you is that I think Conan's hotness is pretty low. YMMV.

Because my son is just getting his license now, at age 22, I'm sending him this link in lieu of actually practice-driving with him. We both win.

Haha, headnsouth, I just sent this link to my 18-yo who is just starting to learn to drive, but she declared it Not Relevant to Her Interests. Good, I think?

Well, there is Comedians in Cars Getting Cocaine.

Fuck that was funny. Diana looked pretty wasted at the end. So, excuse my ignorance - but those dispensaries - can anyone just go in there and buy weed?
posted by awfurby at 6:46 PM on January 6, 2016

can anyone just go in there and buy weed?

In California you need a medical marijuana card, and at some point in the video someone mentions that she owns one. (In my state, however, yes—anyone 21 or over can just walk in and buy weed.)

Never mind how tall Conan is, look at how tiny Kevin Hart is. Does he have to buy kid's clothes?

It's not important how tall Conan is. The real mystery is: how tall is Jake Gyllenhaal?

I didn't realize there was such a huge cultural gap in how people vocalize gun shots. Kinda lost it at the "bonanza shit". Now I'm wondering if this is something that's ever come under study.

So we're just not going to discuss how Diana Chang owns all three of them all the time? That hard and highly illegal left-turn rip into the dispensary followed by blazing in the back is everything.
posted by Errant at 3:59 AM on January 7, 2016 [5 favorites]

haha! She looks so baked on that final take. I'm very jealous.

The visit to the korean spa is pretty hilarious too.

Diana Chang is hands down adorable. She really brings the right tone to this.

My favorite line is when Ice Cube declares the pinãtas in the neighborhood as being bullshit in terms of quality.

Also, I learned to drive in 1996, but I learned 10 and 2 as hands on the steering wheel position. After airbags. When did they start recommending that we lower them?
posted by discopolo at 9:29 PM on January 7, 2016

I think it was after a few years of noticing that people were punching themselves in the face in accidents... It totally makes sense from an airbag point of view, but it is terrible from a vehicle control perspective. The mechanical advantage/action of your arms and hence ability to react quickly (but smoothly) with your hands down there is awful.

I mean, it's perfectly ok for driving in a straight line in town, but not on any kind of curvy road. And how many people actually have accidents with the wheel completely straight and their hands in their normal position? Only the muppets that drive into the back of people in traffic, surely.
posted by Brockles at 10:38 PM on January 7, 2016

I like the playfulness that Conan, Kevin Hart and Ice Cube have together, but I guess I feel like yelling at strangers or throwing pennies at them while they're trying to drive...
it just seems like there's enough random acts of garbage like that in the world. I'm all for them making fun of each other, but—to me—it loses a lot of the funny when they are involving unknowing outsiders who are just trying to go about their day.
