I rolled my eyes at the heavy-handed satire but I admit 00:45 where he pulls off his red plaid jacket to reveal- another red plaid shirt did make me laugh.

I skipped this when I first encountered it, because I was worried it was serious.

This video is the best argument against Universal Basic Income that I have ever seen.

I'm still in favor for humanitarian reasons, but man, there will be some ugly side effects.

I dunno, maybe enough with this shit? We get it. The artisanal movement is overly precious, etc. etc. But I'm seeing more parodies than real examples now. We're reaching "The Times Is On It" levels here. Maybe if the the most important thing in your purview to parody is this stuff, you need to look around more.

I think the shark has been jumped. I'm going to call this punching sideways as satire.

There really should be more awareness about the lure of professional bowling circuits and how they're breaking up families.

Absolutely, and the lack of a good toaster and presence of supermarket bread tells me these ppl aren't "maker" enough to do a true parody. It doesn't display anything more than beards and a sense of the language, but this could have been so much more insufferable.

Has anybody done a parody of filmmakers who create "My name is X...and I'm a Y" mini-documentaries like these?

I thought this was the go-to artisinal parody video.

Pretty much if there isn't boots crunching on snow and a dude chopping his own wood to start a fire (for actual toasted fucking bread) it isn't maker enough.
the plaid jacket to plaid shirt was pretty good tho.
