six seconds of vaporwave bliss (feat. HOME and the Simpsons)
The song is Resonance by HOME
The clip is from Bart on the Road

It's not supposed to be funny, but a weird micro-dose of neo-nostalgia.

Of course I misread it as simpsons vaporware bliss and was expecting something else entirely.

This is basically the "cars are evil" counterargument.

Until you wrote that I always read it as vaporware and could not figure out why you would call your music that.

I guess this is as good a place as any to share a favorite I found recently: Breeze by Mitch Murder

yes! I just picked up two of HOME's latest albums - Falling Into Place and Odyssey. Not the most incredible music, but a solid example of the genre. For something similar but with a bit more punch, check out The Northern Lights

Why isn't there a 14-hour loop of this.
WHY
leave the vine window open and it'll loop forever

I still don't know why the national grammar rodeo was at the Sheraton Hotel in Canada.

I first saw an 80's revivalist act, Jacques Lu Cont of Les Rhythmes Digitales, in 1997 - next year it will be 20 years ago. I miss the 80s of the 2000s.

Thanks for the recommendations everyone! I have gone down a Vaporwave rabbit hole and my extensive YouTube experience suggests that the wonderful Resonance by HOME and the lovely Breeze by Mitch Murder are Synthwave. They are great and I am enjoying them muchly, but they are not slightly disturbing or weird, which are key Vaporwave elements AFAICT.
Here is a great Synthwave mix, my favourite tune being Vector Hold - Incognito.
