I love it.
Then again, my dumb idea of the week involved fake children's books based on some of Tom Waits's weirder work.

There is no reason for these to be fake.

These remind me a bit of LiarTown USA, except without the sneering undercurrent, and seriously, seriously beautiful.
The "Maybe good for a cat lover?" sticker on the cats book is just the best thing.

Ooh, just found the second link to her work. The meta humor in this one is darling.

Who Is Having Sex With All These Big Beardy Folk? — uh, I think like 90% of them are having sex with each other.

When I was in college I got caught sneaking out of an all girl's dorm "after hours." I was required to write a 2 page paper as to why it was not okay to be there. In addition to the paper, I wrote and passed in a kid-friendly (mostly) 16 page pop-up book with a very satirical cover entitled "The Night NTD Slept Over." It was awesome fun. It ended with a figure that was running to crew practice and a campus security car with one of those sliders to change the lights colors as I was chased down running 5 miles to crew practice... just to be told that I was caught and that I'd have to write a paper.
I received the paper back, but they kept the pop-up story book... well, somebody did.
