Amazing and wonderful! I played this video and our puppy came running--he kept looking behind the iPad to find Duncan...

Thanks for this post--I missed the previous one. He's a lovely, joyful dog and it looks like the Panda Paws Rescue has given him a great life.

When you saw only one pair of pawprints in the sand, it was then that Duncan Lou was a very good dog. Well, that and all the other times.

Did he really die and come back to life: Yes, this has actually happened twice. Both times Amanda performed CPR on him, the last time for 15 minutes. Only 3% of dogs survive CPR and he has done it twice.

What is his life expectancy? We have no idea, we take every day as a good day. We believe that quality of life is more important than quantity and we will do everything we can to keep Duncan’s quality of life excellent. Duncan’s spirit is strong and he will never quit, we will ultimately have to decide for him when his quality of life is no longer at an acceptable level. We will not ever put Duncan in a situation where we feel he is in pain or suffering.

Do you make money off his media success? We made some money off of the original YouTube video that went viral. 100% of that money went back into Panda Paws Rescue. We do not charge for Duncan's appearances or pay for social media boosts. His media success is 100% organic. We do not believe Duncan to be a marketing tool or a way for us to make money and it will always be that way. We do however push to share his story in a way that will continue to inspire people and change minds about differently abled animals.
