I was disappointed because I thought it would be dogs dressed as bats (the mammals). That's what Bill Veeck would have done.

Two of my favorite things in the world - minor league ball and dogs. Naturally, as a Sox fan, I'm ignoring that it's a Yankee's affiliate because dogs.
