That's terrible parking, though - not only can you not get out of the van, you also can't load/unload anything. Plus they presumably had to get out of the van to fold in their mirrors first, so they *knew* it was a bad spot. Also, is 5 guys with sledgehammers a better value proposition than one guy with a powered post driver? Sorry, I'm that guy today.

I don't know about Japan, but every car in Korea has automatic side mirrors that fold in at the press of a button.

Anyway the van was obviously parked there so some kids could ride their bikes across the top in a training montage like in Rad!

What was that guy doing throwing fire into a barrel?

Looked like a bunch of barrel staves leaning up against a wall in the background.

Was he searing the inside of it for some reason? For a brewery?

Eh, I appreciate the old school quality of it. It's hella quicker than having one person with a mallet, and the coordination is impressive. Dudes got rhythm.

Like, cutting a mini top from a lathe is pretty old school, as is hand-mixing stucco and flinging it up a few stories. Sure, using power equipment would decrease labour, but I like the traditional aspects of professional work on display.

Does anyone know what the first scene is? Are they shaving veneer (or something?) from a (very!!) nice block of wood?

How professional can a van be without a circular window in the back and a large mural of a wizard? Not very professional, that's how much professional. Krieger, now, there's a man who knows professional vans.
