David Beckham, Korean Game show, linkedin articles, Celine Dion, Trolli Candy... and that's just a few of the things. Damn that's crazy.

The most important message of Deadpool 2 is that the world desperately needs a solo Domino film starring Zazie Beetz immediately. Like if the ink on that deal isn't dry by Monday evening it will be a great crime against humanity.

That is perhaps the most letter z's I've ever seen in a single name before.

I majored in marketing in college, and I was once on the brink of working for an ad agency, so I have to give props to this team

The Deadpool appearance on Colbert's Late Show was pretty fabulous too, and isn't mentioned in this article.

I am enthusiastically for all of this, full stop. The things that bring me joy are random, varied, and plentiful. What can I say?

I'm not that big a fan of Ryan Reynolds in general but he was really born to play Deadpool.

We can't seem to avoid him in New Zealand either. Add this broadcasting standards spot to the list.

Well, if there's any superhero who is going to be all over "going down under", it's Deadpool.

Gail Simone would SO be down to write that, I am SURE.

I'm not that big a fan of Ryan Reynolds in general but he was really born to play Deadpool.

I'm mystified by the difference between his Charisma Set to Maximum as Deadpool* and any other movie I've seen him in.

* Not including his crap Deadpool in the crap X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
On top of that, we witness a laughable CBS-procedural-like moment, in which the mind-controlling baddie (Danny Huston) types the word “DECAPITATE” into his computer.

That was such a perversely terrible movie.

I'm not repping for X-Men Origins: Wolverine, but when Reynolds in the early stages is being allowed to do something resembling the "merc with a mouth" wisecracking Deadpool, his performance is not bad. Obviously, nu-metal Deadpool at the end, not much to work with.

Tangentially related: How Marvel Annihilated Counterprogramming -- Once upon a time, movie studios offered up alternatives to mega-blockbusters. Now, in the age of superheroes, they just take their ball and go home. (Sean Fennessey for The Ringer, May 14, 2018)

tl;dr: Superhero blockbusters take all the cakes at the box office, leaving (multi-million dollar) crumbs for the rest, so some are looking to skip the theaters and deal directly with Netflix.

Is that Marvel s fault? Or other studios' lack of ideas / greed meeting less than billion dollar expectations?

What s killing newspapers isn t lack of profitability so much as the profits not accelerating in tune with the insane expectations of morons.

It s almost as if an economic system premised on greed is doomed to fail
