SHE BON : Sensing the Sensual
October 22, 2018 2:18 AM Subscribe
SHE BON is a platform, a human-computer interface for sensing and indicating different aspects of arousal by harnessing a variety of body-data! "What I'm aiming to achieve is encouraging a more healthy, approachable dialog about sex amongst humans." (NSFW)
Or SHE BOT, even.

Anyway, this is cool. Somewhere, Donna Haraway is smiling.

Sarah Petkus is awesome! Elicia and Chris did a great interview with her (mostly about the robot army and NOODLEFEET) a while back on embedded.fm, as well.

I can’t believe Sarah Petkus hasn’t been posted here before given all the other great videos on her website.
The post-it roller is delightfully absurd. Who hasn’t experienced the tedium of having to plaster an entire wall with post-it’s individually?
She mentions she was a finalist to be a new Mythbusters host but I guess she didn’t make it. Someone give her a television show on TLC already. I’m thinking a kids show where they design and build all kinds of crazy impractical fun things. Minus the sexy stuff. That could be on another channel.

This is pretty cool, but not terribly excited by the 1:1 correspondence being made between physical response and sexual arousal. Those two things are not the same!

Let's also not forget the distinction between arousal and desire, which I will highlight every time it's remotely relevant.
