Niecy Nash's informercial for white people who just want to call 911 on their POC neighbors (NYT) “You’re scared. You’re white. But with cell phone, cameras, and social media, calling 911 on your Black or brown neighbors just isn’t what it used to be,” Nash, playing narrator, says to potential white customers.

That was interesting, a video OpEd. With profanity! My local paper would close before they did something like that.

Below is a list of 39 known instances just this year when someone called the police to complain about black people doing everyday activities
39, that we know of, just this year (which isn't over yet!). The wave is just starting to curl over here. And we're all on it.
Privacy concerns aside for a minute, I'm excited to be living at the exact point in time that this all started to get documented. Think of the centuries for which people have been able to pull this shit knowing there would be no consequences.
Justice is sweet.
