slayed

You know, it never occurred to me that I'd get to watch a verb being regularized in my lifetime.

*Ahem * Can you imagine how many hours of practice that took to play that without even any music?

My heartiest, deepest thanks and congratulations to his family and his housemates for putting up with so MANY hours of practice!

(Okay, failing that, my deep thanks to whoever invented the silent electric piano and headset so only the piano player can hear what he is playing.)

Bonus: There is a grey model spider dancing with him on the very back of the black keys, staying with his left hand as a dance partner. ...okay, I know I'm the only one that sees a happy Halloween spider but I enjoyed it anyway.

Sounds like this is the better BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY movie. Also, yeah! Why did they cut off the applause!?

avi111 maybe you were slyly referring to this fact, but Martel is the voice performer for the music in the Bohemian Rhapsody movie.

Don't want to be one of those people, but here is a case where vertical video is, um, suboptimal?

Nevertheless, enjoyed it.

If we fail to regularly complain about vertical video, our woes will go unheard and we will be forced to live in a future rife with the evils of vertical video...

Yes, it is the smallest of complaints. I should have led with how much I was awed by the performance.

(And you know, contrary to a previous poster, I just assumed he extemporized it. Which is, on reflection, probably not the case. But I have known piano savants who could just sit down and play anything they heard. And yes, there's a lot of practice that goes into that too.)

I don’t understand why I just never get tired of this song. Everyone who plays it, sings it, lip syncs it, listens to it, just looks like they are *feeling it* so hard. I get really weary from overplayed songs (I hated the Beatles for so long and absolutely detest any Christmas music) but not this one. Yet.

Martel alluded to in the second link in this previously.

(I kind of wanted to hear the crowd around that kid pianist gradually start singing along.)
