Awesome. Is she singing in French or Haitian Creole?

Damn, this is some nice solid blues-rock. She rips the fretboard right off her guitar with some of these solos.

Has a stoner rock quality to it. Or maybe all this stoner rock I've been listening to just has African influences and I never knew it.

I have to hear this everyday for a while, and I have to buy this, to justify it. She is so good. The music is right on point, spare, with room to anticipate, it is great!

My French isn’t super-good, but the songs I’ve listened to don’t sound like French to me. I assume it’s Haitian Creole.

For anybody in the NYC area on April 25th, she has a free show in the David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center that evening. It's a first, come, first served cafe performance, so prepare accordingly.
