Cat-Scan.com is one of the strangest sites I've seen in some time. I have no idea how these people got their cats wedged into their scanners, or why.

Happy anniversary, Matt. And thanks.

It actually all started about 4 years ago as a joke in a plan update from Cliffy B of Epic Games.

here's the blues news archive (gotta search in page for "Cliffy"). After that, I believe it took on a life of its own.

It would have been cooler [and a bit more geekier] to repost this @ 3:03 PM PST - so we can have total symmetry.

Oh, I'm reading the posts here.

I would be concerned for the humane treatment of these animals or fear that scanning their faces may make them go blind, but I HATE cats. I'm a dog person, and I'd never do this to my adorable chihuahua.

On a totally different subject, as if you couldn't get enough of the JenniCam, now there's the JenniShow. It's fairly boring, more like a video diary than a voyeur's dream.

if we keep doing this can we cause a wormhole or something dangerous like that?

A merry, merry anniversary, Matt. Thank-you.

Matt: definitely one of the greater cats! Vita Sackville-West said it best all those years ago:

The greater cats with golden eyes
Stare out between the bars.
Deserts are there and different skies,
And night with different stars.

Congratulations, Matt!

Hippo birdies, two ewes....

And in an odd display of symmetry, I'm happy to report that *my* cat was on the very first page of the "cat scan entries" -- bottom right-hand corner, the plaid one. :)

Try to avoid scanning the Cat's genitals. We really don't need to see Fluffy's junk up close and personal.

Happy birthday. Fluffy's package is in the mail.
