Summary page and link to YouTube episode. “During the June 30 and July 3 meetings of the Sid City Social Club, Alexander Siddig and Andrew Robinson did a live reading of the first episode of a fanfic script titled Alone Together: A DS9 Companion.
The first episode, “These Days”, introduces us to Dr. Julian Bashir and Elim Garak some 25 years after we last saw them. We begin the story as Bashir goes to visit his old friend on Cardassia…“
There's a lot more DS9-related content on the youtube channel! Live zooms with Nana Visitor and Ira Steven Behr, for example.
(Also it took me until now that this is... the website of Alexander Siddig. picard_facepalm.gif)

Listened to this yesterday, and it was SUCH A JOY to hear Andrew Robinson's voice as Garak Just A Mild Mannered Tailor of Course again. DS9 Trek is my favorite Trek, and I've been in the fandom since 1972.
So good, so good.
Thanks for posting this so that others can get in on it!

Without spoiling the story, the DS9 character mentioned at the end of the video will be doing their bit of the reading in the next episode according to the comments, which makes me even more excited.

I just started watching DS9 on Netflix for the first time this week, so this is nice and timely. I'll just bookmark it for after I finish it up...

Gah, as someone who doesn’t have the energy to cook along with having no garden space and no kids this fills my day. Thank you.

Mark Allen Shepherd is still alive which is a relief because I was worried if Morn gets written into a later episode they’d need to find someone who could really carry his lines.

I don't know if I can buy Garak openly leading Cardassia instead of ruling from the shadows with some other patsy in the spotlight, but it was nice to hear those two at it again.

It is amazing how delightful it is to hear those two voices together again.
