Introducing Monday? Apparently not. PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting, whose grand plan to change their company name to Monday were previously discussed, came to their senses and sold themselves to IBM. Goodbye new "identity". Goodbye IPO as well. They were planning on spending $110 million to promote the new name -- wonder how much of that went down the toilet?
The song? I've had those freaky hands stuck in my head. Not pretty. Pretty painful, too, having blotchy hands stuck in your head.

Somewhere, there is a guy (or girl) in a little office. He or she was the first to recommend the switch to "Monday", and probably didn't get nearly the credit he or she thought he or she deserved. Whoever that person is, he (or she) is now no doubt dreading all the attention that is going to come their way very, very soon.

From the Yahoo link: After years of soulsearching, "Monday" off IPO list
Guess they didn't find anything.

In times like these, the only appropriate action is to point and laugh.

I don't like Mondays.
Tell me why.
I want to shoot the whole day down.

Earlier today, I was listening the the song "Blue Monday" by New Order, and I just realized how perfect it is for this event: "Blue" being IBM and "Monday" being PwC.
Tell me now… How should I feel?

That money did not "go down the toilet." Most likely, it went to struggling young marketing executives who snorted it up their nose, thus supporting the working peasant cocoa farmers of several South American regions.

Much cheaper than cocaine, and the same effect. Little known factoid. Take out the little marshmallows, though.
