Star Trek INtakes
August 13, 2020 4:13 AM   Subscribe

Bloopers, when edited back into the finished episodes, can add a bit of humanity to characters, like Geordi and Worf Celebrate Their Rescue. Sometimes they just add a bit of absurdity, like Something’s Wrong With Worf. Both are good. All are made by Ryan’s Edits. posted by adrianhon (27 comments total) 57 users marked this as a favorite

I love this, just a note for the admins, the video links are switched and should probably be switched back.

Whoopi Goldberg's outtakes make her scenes so much better, and are even plausibly in-character! "Have you tried f--king the program?"

"Something's wrong with Worf" makes me wonder if Patrick Stewart put his castmates through his Quadruple Take Masterclass.

I truly did not realize that there were ways to make TNG bloopers better. I was under the impression they were already the most wonderful thing extant.

It makes TNG feel much more like “Orville”... 😁

It makes TNG feel like lower decks. ( Geordi and Worf Celebrate Their Rescue particularly)

Metafilter: Some kind of Star Trek. Some sort of scanning device. A tracking device of some kind. A cloaking device of some sort. Some sort of magnetic device. Some sort of coercive device. Some sort of medical instrument. An apparatus of some sort. Some sort of power waveguide conduits. Some sort of ... neural matrix. Some sort of debris.

Some sort of excuse:
"Klingons do not procrastinate. It is a ... tactical delay."

Also this post's mention of Gazorra reminds me of Flauting Danger, which is probably in my top 5 Youtube videos. Of ever.

Blink and you'll miss it pay-off, but Riker and Picard are Relieved is by far my favorite.

These are fun! Thank you for posting them.

This one is subtle, but I like that Patrick Stewart tries to stay in character even after forgetting his line: Picard Has An Idea.
