Found a couple of interesting documentaries about board game design: Going Cardboard: A Board Game Documentary [1h15m] and The Game Designers [1h33m] both cover very similar territory but through very individual lenses Both great watching, and worthwhile if you're interested or aspiring!

Thanks for posting these, hippybear!

These days, I find myself solo board gaming at least twice a week, family board gaming at least once a week, and board gaming with friends about twice a month. Sometimes I'm astounded by the embarrassment of riches available in the board gaming world, and the best games are elegant machines that we can just have sitting on our shelves, ready to be explored at any time.

Looking forward to these documentaries is basically what I'm saying.

I find myself solo board gaming

Found solo game Penciltown about two weeks ago. One of those weeks already consumed with playing. Easy to pause and pick up later.
