Just a general reminder that domesticated critters (including rabbits) should be surrendered to a rescue rather than set loose. They generally don't have the ability to thrive on their own, even in areas where there may be wild rabbits around. This bunny, however, may have been lost, though. Good that a nice dude found him.

... I'm assuming the rabbit learned to use a litter box? I hope!

This is one of my favorites! What a lovely friendship!! All my other favorites are the Dodo's tales of once-sad pit bulls who find their forever homes and are now very happy. And the ones about tortoises. And unlikely animal friendships. And unlikely friendships between tortoises and once-sad pit bulls who are now very happy.

I'm trying to figure out what "Phirii" means; getting "Roamed or sauntered" in Urdu. That's not a bad name for a stray bunny.

I really love deep-voiced men who adore small fluffy animals. There's a dude I watch fairly regularly named Abdul who does kitten rescue, and this bunny guy is on a par with him.

He's on Instagram as abdulscats. It's awkward because I don't have Instagram and therefore can't get a direct link--I only ever see him when he pops up on Facebook Reels.

I'm with Going to Maine, the editing and music feel rather too blatantly ingratiating, and yet, bunny.

I don't have Instagram . . . I only ever see him when he pops up on Facebook Reels.

That is an M. Night level twist ending right there. There are people who have opted out of Instagram in favor of . . . Facebook Reels??

That is really sweet. That thing with the duvet? Very familiar.

Now I miss my bunnies, Scout and Beatrice (aka Bunnygirl).

Scout was a rescue. When he followed me around the house, he grunted, a soft "uh-uh-uh." Gentle, but tough: he survived some kind of parasite in his face that required surgery to remove and, incredibly, a broken leg. (We didn't figure out how he broke it, but he was kind of clumsy.) The vet said animals his size rarely survive a broken bone and wrapped it up at no charge. He wore a bright pink wrap for a few weeks and recovered! Lived another 4 years and passed away at about age 8.

Bunnygirl was sweet as peaches. She was very attached to me, flopping down next to me on the couch. Especially after I had been working out - she loved licking the salty sweat off my arm. She discovered that crinkly things often contain yummy treats and would pull bags of potato chips off the coffee table and behind a chair. Her life was pretty short - she ate something that twisted up her tummy and never recovered.

Both were little sparks of joy who rolled over in the most charming way to take a nap.

I didn't exactly opt out, I just never opted in in the first place. I have one social media platform and that's all I really want to have. Reels turned up, I saw a cute guy/cat video and voila.

I babysat an ex-girlfriend's rabbit once and it gave my current girlfriend at the time a little trim while she was asleep. She was not thrilled to wake up with bangs!

Rabbit shenanigans are good shenanigans

So adorable! It makes me sad to know that somebody abandoned that adorable little creature, but it's great that he found a kind person to take him in.
