- After a lengthy trip Jo the bush stone-curlew has taken up residence outside a hardware store in Evans Head
- He divides his time between relaxing under the owner's ute and admiring himself in the shop window
- Jo "growled" at the owner the first time they met, possibly because he prefers his own company
