Big oil preserving their power, subsidies, and social license

Carbon capture is advanced Earth fuckery. We live in an earthquake prone area, and way too close to the San Andreas Fault, to pressurize the ground, so big oil can keep on keeping on.

Carbon capture and storage is thermodynamic nonsense. Absolute nonsense.

I really, really REALLY encourage everyone to put some effort into organizing locally on climate stuff- talk to people in your local networks about this stuff, call your state legislators, get your friends to call your state legislators, and get their friends to call state legislators. Do it every week.

The next decade is absolutely crucial, and we cannot waste time with this dumb tomfoolery.

CCS is like hydrogen and similar non-solutions that generate endless government grants to never solve the problem while rewarding the very people who are creating the problem to “research” solutions forever.

Westervelt's Reporting (available in her podcasts Drilled, Rigged and Damages) is f-ing damning. The seasons are 8-10 tightly made episodes, well sourced.

The fossil disinformation and political sabotage of human survival will kill more people than facism and communism did in the 20th century. I can't even think of words to describe the evil.

Find the others
Vote, donate, call,petition
Educate, Organize, fight back
Protest, obstruct, boycott and strike
disinvest, decarbonize, reduce, reuse

And learn how to make guilotines.

We should also raise awareness about the depth of the disinformation among the political and military classes in vulnerable countries, like India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Thailand, Mexico, Venezuela, Brazil, Iran, etc.

One should bring more than some wooden boards to a fight between nations. That said, The Guillotine by The Coup ;)
