Kyle Kinane's comments can cause cackling

Seemingly a very recent comedy special, Kyle Kinane showcases his own brand of intelligent, observant, insightful, occasionally irascible (or is that irritating?) comedy in Kyle Kinane - Shocks & Struts [1h]. It's a special that plays nicely within modern boundaries of comedy while occasionally bumping up against them in an unexpected, I think good, way.

Watched this the other night when he, himself, posted about it on Reddit. A very solid special, had me actually laughing (alone! Which - right? - doesn't it take way more for you to laugh when you're alone?).

I'm glad he's still firmly on the left and compassionate, but still shows how to do comedy that doesn't punch down or target marginalized groups and makes it really damn funny.

"Hey, anybody ever make that mistake where you wake up in the morning and believe in yourself?"

There are a number of albums on Spotify if that's your thing. He's pretty great, needs to be a lot better known than he is.

Mod note: Post title changed and several comments removed to avoid even the appearance of hateful content, per the Content Policy. No doubt the poster didn't mean it that way, so hopefully everyone can focus on the actual post now, thanks!

I haven't watched this special, but he is the king of setups with a weird, yet hilarious left turns.

He has a weekly podcast called The Boogie Monster with Dave Stone. Link is from Kyle's site but it is available wherever you get your podcasts. It started out as a conspiracy/cryptid/paranormal podcast, but a lot of the time it is them just talking about whatever is in their lives. And food, lots of talk about food.
