Slightly adjacent, there's Ethiopian cheesesteaks in Philly that I'm desperate to try except I've got no other reason to go to Philadelphia.

Aaramaic, there’s *always* a good reason to go to Philadelphia! Music! Art! The Mütter Museum of Medical Oddities! Barcade! Bars without arcades! Federal Donuts! Comrade,* when you are tired of Philadelphia, you are tired of life.

*I don’t know your pronouns, but are not all humans comrades?

Final contribution to tangent: this is in my home city in Malaysia but it just tells you how big it's become (like korean-style fried chicken), but also: It’s the Heyday for Bagels in Seoul These Days The Must-Visit K-Bagel Places That Even Celebrities Arrive Early to Wait in Line

The growing popularity of American fast food across Pakistan in the 2000s came during a critical phase in Washington’s relations with Islamabad. After Pakistan officially allied with the U.S. in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks, increased American interest in the region brought an influx of dollars. As a result, the 2000s saw economic prosperity, especially for that urban elite, under the military dictatorship of General Pervez Musharraf.

A more on-topic tangent: i absolutely noticed this when I started following this Pakistani channel, Reactistan (has anyone done an FPP? Have I and forgot?). Their whole thing is having their local tribal people (and their talents are mostly people from the country and the non-urban communities) to react to various foods from around the world, but it became pretty clear pretty quickly it's food as understood by American fast food (i.e. when their Italian episode is stuff from Pizza Hut etc). But generally just from that channel alone, mediated by American palate or not, it's evident there's a breadth of non-Pakistani food available already at middle class prices.

Music! Art! The Mütter Museum of Medical Oddities! Barcade!

Haha, I make it up to Philly a couple times a year at least to visit friends and/or PAX Unplugged. Barcade is a guaranteed stop every time, and I've been to the Mütter at least a half dozen times over the last fifteen years. Gotta love that big straw-stuffed colon looking like the worst body pillow!
