Finger Weights

Finger Weights You you read that right. I think people are taking "whole-body" work outs a BIT far. As Comic Book Guy would say, "Worst product ever!"

Well, many people use them for guitar, but I would advise against that. Simply playing the guitar is enough wrist and finger stress in itself without adding weight to the equation. If you simply have to do it, I would just recommend squeezing a tennis ball, or play with .13's on your practice guitar.

Or, you could always massage your girlfriends feet...constantly :^)

I think they're missing out on the Masseuse's model. Although maybe the massagees wouldn't like the clanking metal bits....

Would rockclimbers use these? That's the only sport I can think of!

Schumann had a debilitating hand injury that ruined his career as a concert pianist. He blamed the injury on trying to strengthen his fingers like this. It was probably actually from the effects of syphilis, but do you want to chance it?

JonnyX, how about a little "not work safe" warning next time?

<stern warning>JohnnyX, warn people when you're posting non-worksafe material.</sternwarning>

Seems like these would be useful for rehabilitation after hand injuries, but for stronger typing? Are there that many people out there who can't push down the keys on their keyboards?

Would this be taking whole body workout just far enough? (Yes, also not safe for work).

Re stronger typing: many, many years ago, I took a typing course on a manual typewriter. You really don't know how weak your pinkies are until you try that.

No, no...you typed it wrong!

Worst. Product. Ever.

See? It flows much better with the periods, to emphasize the sheer & utter contempt for said product.
