Euler proved it so there is no debate!

That is certainly a catchy number.

In my imaginary universe the Edmonton Hockey team are the Eulers and the Goalie wears number e.

There is an excellent joke to be made here. Its details are trivial and are left as an exercise for the reader.
I always feel proud when I can sort of keep up with a proof, and having it in a song really seemed to help!
(or maybe it's just that I've seen this proof before, but honestly that usually doesn't help me as much as I'd like to think)

eviemath: I wonder if that's because e is just an ordinary letter. Maybe if it were ε people would be more into it? (But it's too late now, e is way too big to be ε.)

WWU e shirts are not actually available for purchase at the moment, but maybe if there's interest somebody could revive them?
History: I'm an alumnus. The original motivation for the shirts was a silly joke a prof made about "making e shirts instead of t shirts", along with the notion that taking m to infinity could be summarized as "XXL m". I guess you have to take your math humor where you can get it?
Oh, and I like the proof/video too.

I guess the only clothing-swag I want is a belt buckle with digits of e, like the belt buckle with digits of pi that I have. Maaaybe a ball cap, if it was the right style, though I don’t wear ball caps usually. But it would be nice to have e-themed toys and tchotchkes and cute things to bring to class on the appropriate teaching days and such, like one can find pi-themed versions of.
