Obi-Wan Slash(es) Maul

The Sith Academy ran from June 1999 to June 2001 and was a series of parodic stories by many different authors creating a shared continuity, not unlike the Star Wars "extended universe" books, except that these stories starred Darth Maul, the villain from 1999's The Phantom Menace with less than six minutes of screentime. Here Maul is given a rundown apartment, a series of rage-inducing jobs, a pet cat, and a growing supporting cast with characters like "Darth Mary Sue" and padawan "Ben-Wa". Also, Maul has sex with Obi-Wan Kenobi. A lot.
"Maul is, like many of his authors, a twenty-or-thirty-something languishing in an insufficiently challenging and remunerative job or graduate program." Critical introductions and afterwords are also included in the site, situating the stories in relationship to the Phantom Menace (rejecting the idea that fanfiction need be written by people who are fans of everything about the original work), compulsive heterosexuality, and the cultural milieu of the turn of the millennium.

Whenever I picture Darth Maul while reading a Star Wars fanfic, it’s always with a kilt on thanks to early exposure to these stories. The absolute crack of them, wonderful!

Somehow I managed to click around and find myself, not in any of the Darth Maul stories, but in an advice column written by a transgender Yoda.
I'm not complaining.

I had a Sith Academy shirt. I think I lost it in the move, and that makes me sad.
I also, somewhere, have a picture of my friend and I, her wearing a piece of black fabric like a cape, a paper Darth Maul mask over her face, me with my Official Obi-Wan Kenobi Padawan Braid (tm), both of us giving the finger and holding up bottles. SANOLA represents.
