Mastoween last Sunday was Killer Klowns from Outer Space (archive.org full movie) which was great fun, especially costumes and set design.

#Mastoween is a horror variation of #Monsterdon, a weekly group watch of classic/camp monster movies. Check out the hashtag on a mastodon instance near you.

Hello again, it's me Shannon Delgado

That SNL sketch is actually one of my favorite horror stories. In a little over five minutes it establishes lore, introduces characters and stakes, then resolves in a way that features both someone deservedly escaping and someone else getting their entirely earned comeuppance.

Last year, valkane used the MST Club room to show a horror movie a night throughout October. Sadly valkane's gotten a job lately that's severely cut into his time helping out, and we don't have anything like that planned this year. (The rest of us already do three shows a week, and at times feel the weight of that pressure.)
