A Kind of Kinky Turing Test

This adds another layer: Beyond just being financially dominated, the user is further made lesser by the fact that they’re being dominated by something that isn’t even trying to seem human ... “A lot of kink and submission also has to do with ‘depersonalization.’ I think that being dominated by AI is just a way to feel further separated from one’s human identity,” Witt-Eden explained. “By interacting with an inanimate computer program, one also becomes an inferior object.” from Welcome to the Kinky World of AI Financial Domination

We need to raise taxes.

Truly, humans will use anything for sex, and this is just salacious framing for what's otherwise a state of tech article, but really, just send money to a charity and masturbate to something else.

Maybe we could get the wealthy to fetishize paying taxes. Nationalize the FinDoms, as it were.

I love how the fancy "AI" findomme startup didn't even consider things like consent, boundaries of the findomme, or how the "AIs"behavior would reflect on her.

Really worth 50% of the take!

(It's not AI, it's sparkling LLM)

There's a variety of automated "dom/me" programs, and have been since at least Win95 - this is the first financial one I've seen, though. Huh.

It's one of those things I don't get. If I wanted to pay inordinate amounts of money for a humiliating and ultimately futile experience, I'd just go back to grad school.

OK now I want a Tingle/Gibson re-imagining of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers with more sex blackmail.

I fully support automating the process of taking money from the extremely rich and telling them they're worthless. If some of them might get particularly horned up over the process, that's an acceptable risk.

I like where this is going in an almost Borgesian direction.

Imagine programmers creating bots which use findom for what they see as social good:
-redistribute wealth (but to whom, and how?)
-fund revolutionary organizations
-funnel money to the global south as climate reparations
-set up a secret Fully Automated Luxury Space Communism project

There’s a stocks and bonds joke in here somewhere, if only I had time enough and coffee.

I've always considered all software* - AI or otherwise - to be deficient to at least some degree, not dominant. As a human being I feel superior to it and constantly disappointed by it.

*present company excepted, of course

AI Financial Domination? Ridiculous!

Now excuse me, I'm overdue for today's tasks in my current gacha game. (Daily login bonus!)

I'm sure we wouldn't have any problem getting folks to line up for a chance to kick rich people in the ass. The rich person would pay and all the kickers would get a percentage. It covers all the bases, everyone will walk away (some slowly) having gotten something from the experience.

The rich people in this story aren't paying to be financially humiliated. The rich people in this story are the ones taking a slice from between the paypigs and the findoms.

As an aspiring robosexual, I don't approve.

now, if you'll excuse me, I need to be fitted with a robust mouthguard so that I can, in fact, bite someone's shiny metal ass.

A fair number of pro-dommes and other sex workers already have this aim - redistribute money from their clients towards social good, mutual aid, and other things in the Luxury Space Communism category.

Also to those of you balking or kink-shaming or whatever: AI aside, how is this that much different than other forms of sex work? It's payment for services rendered.

(I say "AI aside" because I posted that Previously link and while there was no mention of AI there, the response was much the same)
