A daily visit to Hotel Fred

Roger Langridge is a cartoonist. Every morning, he draws a four panel strip about whatever happens to be on his mind and posts it online. Some are about the everyday trials and delights of family life, some are about his dog and others simply rif on what the medium can do. I like them a lot.

Nice, pithy slices of life—I can see why you like it. He's a Gen X New Zealander living in England.

The slice of life style makes me fondly remember Toranto’s own Matthew Blackett and his m@b comic strip. (Yes, I borrowed a little bit when I created my profile name here.)

Unfortunately, it appears to be consigned to the dustbin of internet (and personal press) history. Here’s a link to his website via Internet Archive around the time he stopped publishing the strip. Hope he’s doing well.

I like these too. They have just the right touch of off-the-rails creativity and make good use of the four-panel format. Thanks for posting them.
