Darlene Love reunites with Paul Schaffer and David Letterman to sing her Christmas standard, "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" for the first time since 2014.

One of my favorite TV traditions—the last one from 2014 pulled out all of the stops.
Also Paul's impression of Cher singing "O Holy Night" is perfection.

oh, wait, this version is much better (Thomas does the punchline himself, not spoiled by the dumb "reenactment" video), plus it has the annual football toss at the meatball competition!

The Letterman YouTube channel, aka the Barbara Gaines Show, is comedy gold. Not just old clips, but writers and other staff giving behind the scenes stories. Plenty of new material too, with a mellow Letterman cracking jokes about our absurd world. Oddly, it is the one channel I subscribe to that never shows up in my feed

The 2013 documentary 20 Feet From Stardom chronicles the history and stories of background singers, and Darlene Love's story was particularly worth watching due to her years of getting screwed by Phil Spector and leaving the industry temporarily. It's a really great documentary.
