My Cat Shoots Rubber Bands From Her Paws [6m16s] My black cat Serena has not only learned how to shoot rubber bands, she has mastered the art. I feel like a circus hawker, but YOU WON'T SEE THIS ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE! ... Serena is a 4 year old Domestic Short Hair. She has no top incisors, so her tongue sticks out ALL THE TIME!!!! 😺

Cute. Our cat adores rubber bands, but she mainly wants us to hold them while she chomps down on them. Her superpower is fetching.

OMG we have a cat with the same thing! Unlike Serena, who is clearly an intellectual, our perma-blep mog is genuinely a complete idiot, his look of slightly disgruntled imbecility does not disguise any hidden talents whatsoever.

This will be great fun for the cat right up until it backfires. Trust me, elastics are not to be trusted. It's been 40+ years since I learned the lesson and still have an internal wince thinking about it.

Mastered it compared to what? Perhaps better than other cats, but clearly her skills are extremely rudimentary. Also, I feel like this isn’t that notable until she teaches it to other cats. Good for her, but talk about overselling something!
