The Asylum presents their newest mockbuster, Monster Mash.

Dr Victor Frankenstein (Michael Madsen) kidnaps Dracula's daughter. Drac gets the band back together to take him on. Also features a glimpse of a CGI werewolf whose vibe is VERY late 90s VFX.

I love this concept and want it extended to other genres. Luke Skywalker recruits Dave Bowman, Neo, Ellen Ripley and Paul Atreides to take down a power-mad Flash Gordon? I am there for it.

My favourite thing about this is the way they haven't bothered to re-dub the Invisible Man's lines so you can hear the way he's awkwardly speaking through the bandages on his face.

I’m fascinated that Michael Madsen is not credited on IMDB for this.

It looks unspeakably cheesy and also divine.

They must surely have spelled 'nightmares' wrong on purpose, right? One of the monsters is a troll.

Content creators are not above misspelling words or pronouncing things oddly just to get people commenting on their videos to correct them. The platforms demand engagement, and they don't much care what kind of engagement that is.

Throwing a glaring screen-sized spelling error into your trailer is certainly one way of getting people to pass the link around.

A) This looks absolutely godawful, and
B) I haven't been this excited for an upcoming movie in a very long time.

I think I saw that werewolf in a Harry Potter film. This looks very fun!

I’m in the theatre waiting for this to start—in 4 minutes. Still the only person here…

I expected it to be bad, and it was; I hoped it would be amusingly bad, and it mostly was not
