DID YOU EVER WONDER HOW THE FBI KNEW ALL THESE NAMES FIVE MINUTES AFTER THE ATTACK ON AMERICA? I know its just another anonymous site about 9-11 but it does highlight some interesting facts and prompts some questions about what the US government knew prior to the attack.

On a sort of related note... I think the then South African Foreign Minister, Pik Botha, and a few other high ranking South African diplomats were booked on the infamous Pan Am flight 103.

They mysteriously changed their plans and never boarded. This has always bugged me.

Now where did I put my tin hat...

Not quite "anonymous site". Let's read more, yes?
  • perpetual motion machine, hidden by the gov.
  • A discussion of the Illumaniti's Role in council on foreign relations.

I'm sure I could find more inane conspiracy theories if I looked, but that should do. I wish people wouldn't waste their time with paranoid and stupid conspiracy theories when there are real, provable evils and injustices right out in the open.

They knew the name of the 5 hijackers on flight 11 because Madeline Amy Sweeney did her job and other flight attendants on other flights did their jobs as well under very trying circumstances right up to the last moment.

Thank God you put that heading in caps. I might have missed this story entirely.

Most. annoying. javascript. screen. wipe. ever.

This is somewhat related to the Jose "dirty bomber" Padilla = John Doe #2 meme from last year. I wonder if that has panned out into anything?

If you scroll to the bottom of the linked site,
    you'll notice the following caption:

    American Patriot Friends Network

    "....a network of net worker's...."

Which is rather 1337 in a cromulent sort of way.

Of course, the Hijackers names weren't put on the passenger list.

    Interesting, eh?

anyone wanna see my collection of black helecopters from my digital camera?

    -interstae motels
    -roadside bru haha
    -skinny tim and mush-mush militias
    -former Oaklahoma city teevee reporters.
    -anonymous motel co-owners.
    -them wacky iraqis

    {in room 19, the co-owner found a mysterious etching in the Gideon near the (now defunct) HBO cable box. It read: 'TUR-WOR' puzzeled, he fumbled with the meaning until a sudden gust of wind sent the Gideon onto the mirrored desk, to his astonishment it read: 'RUT-ROW' when viewed in the mirror. outside, the co-owner saw what he believed was a multi-colored dodge, chevy or ford panel van peeling out of the parking lot, the co-owner stated it was headed east; "towards the malt shop". Police are on the look-out for a dapper male, another male whom "looks like Dobie Gillis', two female companions and a dog who may or may not be a dog at all.}

From theirthe APFN front page: A Patriot is one who loves God, Family and Country..... We believe Patriots should rule America....

As opposed to the (lower case "p") patriots who just love their country. I am thinking that maybe-perhaps-yes these are not the most unbiased people on the Interweb.

Nice caps. Written like my senior citizen father, Matt Drudge, and the instapundit guy.

BECAUSE ALL POSTS SHOULD START LIKE THIS then change back to normal writing after one line.

If you people don't like or want to discuss the post then why not just ignore it. Why do you feel the need to be so rude and critical of something just because you don't agree with it.

I don't know if this claim carries any weight. I do know the the government has been very reluctant to investigate and some things don't add up. Conspiracy, maybe. Stupidity, probably. But if the questions aren't ever asked then we will never know. If you are happier in the dark, I'm cool with that but not everyone is.

Picking on using caps is just petty, but you do what you have to do to feel superior.

If only those who agree respond, then there's no discussion and this website would entirely consist of people patting each other on the back and saying "Great post!"

If someone uses a convention that is widely regarded as a sign of a lack of sophistication and/or intelligence, someone ought to point it out.

uncanny: It does seem there were generalized warnings about Pan Am flights circulating in the security community; and for high-risk individuals, it's a common tactic to change schedules at the last minute. Most of the time, it goes unnoticed because the person didn't actually dodge a bomb. Or it may have merely been an early arrival at Heathrow.

This site may be a little suspect, but the "terrorist motel" is either an astonishing coincidence, or something that we should hope the FBI is closely on top of. We do know Nichols travelled to the Philippines, we know (now) Ramzi Yousef and others were there at the right times, and we know that Nichols/McVeigh used a terror technique that had deep roots in the Middle East. It does seem odd that Steven Emerson's 1988 introduction to the world of American jihadis was by stumbling into a conference ... in Oklahoma City.

Hey Matt, do you think you could add :first-line { text-transform: uppercase } to the style sheet? Then all posts would be like this. Yippee!

    It’s fun being petty.

I saw very little discussion and a lot of sniping and nastiness. If you don't agree with the post them say why but just making fun is wasted space and very "high school" like behavior.

bas67: They're all being kind. I've seen them be mean and you wouldn't like it. It's not that they "don't agree with it," it's that they looked at it and they saw something too stupid to let stand.

I am now the meanest of them all.

hmm, okay, maybe mathowie's being a tad mean by letting this thread go on when he could vanish it with a click of his keyboard but...I liked clavdivs' take so much...[blows kisses to clavdivs and more to Matt]...Good show, Matt!
Somebody remind me tomorrow to post that initial link to The Museum of Hoaxes' weblog.
That said, I should add that I love a good conspiracy theory and, if I had the time and energy, I'd set up a weblog devoted to them so others of my perversion could appreciate them as much as I do.
JonnyX: I enjoyed your link enormously. Please e-mail me anything else you find along this line!

For the record, I'm guessing that the heading was all caps because it was copied from the crawl across the top of the screen. I would have done the same thing. And besides, I think it captures the tone of the piece quite nicely.

Sigh. So tired. No more words.
