Mix it with the best

Look out disc spinners. Why are they paying those DJs so much? How about a Mefi theme song? Maybe too late for Friday but still some flash fun.

That's a great site. I only wish they has a bunch of voice samples to toss in with the mix. Nothing like the refrain of 'Klatuu Barrata Nicto' or 'there's no fighting in the war room' to liven up a crowd...

"The System is Down! The System is Down! The System is Down!"

Seriously, cool little app.

Just in case this was a serious enquiry:

Why are they paying those DJs so much?

For the same reason 'they' are paying TV hosts, sportspeople, the Jackass crew etc. so much.

App. unfortunately frustratingly slow to use via my 56k modem. So much to my relief I don't feel obliged to promote this attempt at marketing Bacardi rum, which is a lesser quality product to Havana Club anyway, which shows in their attempts to oust Havana Club completely from the market.

Sorry to politicize this thread, but in the words of Skunk Anansie, yes it's fucking political.

My God! Companies are using marketing techniques to beat they rivals? Oh, the humanity! Will it never end?

So how much is Havana Club paying you, asok?

Umm, how do you get the samples into your actual track? I tried dragging them onto the timeline, and onto the "awaiting sample" part, and all I managed to get was a big fat pile o' nothing. And I have diddled around with modtrackers before, so I'm not a complete stranger to music software.

arto: It took me awhile to figure that one out too...Having used ACID dragging to the timeline made the most sense to me too. But after referring to the trusty help file I learne dthat you drag the samples to the faders first then you are able to "paint" them into the timeline (you must click the arrow up button right above the time line first) Not very intuitive at all.
