Actually with the lack of criticism of the GOP in the "mainstream" media, this is one of the few places left to read it.

No, what we need are more Ayn Rand wannabees. Seriously though, with a name inspired by the rapee-happy Rand, you'd think you'd find the 'pork' link to be sickening - that's tax dollars at work, in case you're confused.

And the 'mustard' link? I read it as an indict of hypocrisy; I suppose if you were feeling particularly defensive, it might seem anti-GOP. Angst building? Don't worry, we're going to bomb some brown people soon; it will cheer you right up.

The Dems and the Repubs both like the taste of pork. The Republicans are just more outright and open in their corruption. That reminds me of a funny Barry Crimmins' quip: "There's a nickel's worth of difference between Republicans and Democrats. If you put a nickel on the table a Democrat will steal it from you and a Republican will kill you for it." [sic]
