Cyberlicious: the Art and Culture Network. In a lo-brow search for "bubblicious", I happened upon the hi-brow and highly browse-friendly, ACN. Why? Because "bubblicious" is one of its in-site "keyword" searches, describing that quality "shared by champagne, soap foam, hot air balloons, and gum... lighter than air, ephemeral, in a state of creative tension, colorful, beautiful, and amusing", and returning results for movements such as "Pop/Surrealism/Anti-Design", "Miniskirts", "The Digital Era", "Smarty Arty Pop" and "Glam Rock", along with artists such as Mary Quant, The Ramones, Mariko Mori, Gene Kelly, and Mouse on Mars. (more...)

Clicking on anything will lead you to an article page with links to "related artists", "movements", recommended URLs, and more keywords, plus a "cloud" of related concepts relating to the artist or movement; clicking again brings up a new information page with a new Cloud. The site cross-references Design Arts, Film, Literature, Music, Performing Arts, and Visual Arts, all accessible from a collapse/expand menu on each page, and can also be queried via traditional search.

From the keyword "bubblicious", for example, clicking on "Mouse on Mars" leads us to an overview article, plus the "abstract electronica" movement, the further keywords of "pop", "kinetic", "smart", "cartoonish", and "bright", and related artists such as Aphex Twin, Bugs Bunny and Georges Seurat.
