Man dies naked

Man exercises personal liberty to ride nearly naked. Within 2 months of the story he dies, likely falling off a cliff, after having been arrested for earlier for a lack of clothes. A tragedy. Who is willing to take his place? [Links from Jester69/#mefi]
I've mountain-biked nekkid. It was not worthwhile. Aside from the fear of wiping out (which given the scrub and cacti around here would have been a nightmare scenario), it was mighty uncomfortable. Dangly bits were a little too free to move about, getting themselves squished and pinched; and the seat felt quite nasty with sweat after a while.
But, hey, had to try it just once to find out.

Our local eccentric is known as the Tan Man. He tans as if it's a sport, and his license plate reads tan man. Yay for them!

Milwaukee's famed nude tanning character, Dick Bacon, a former Pabst worker and Mr. Nude America, died in 2000.
(Yes, you read the name right.)

The local eccentric in Amsterdam rollerblades wearing only a thong and sometimes a black cap and matching backpack. In the very cold early spring of Holland.*brr*

Why can't it just be a tragedy that a man died?
Personally, I feel that a community's eccentrics and how they are dealt with by the mundanes are a good gauge of a its attitude and temper.

dabitch, I saw that guy a few years ago on my first day in Amsterdam!! It was in April, and it was damn cold for anyone to be out nearly naked. He certainly commanded attention, mine and everyone else's.

I even live in San Antonio.
Such a shame. I'll miss him. Local eccentrics are always the best.
