I dunno...maybe it's because I'm a New Yorker who saw the events of 9/11 first-hand, but this kind of makes me queasy. I have no problem with the new campaign's cause, and I despise how Lisa Beamer has tried to exploit the phrase, but that expression became famous in a very specific, tragic context.

And the phrase "kicking the habit" was born out of the withdrawl effects of heroin. You can find misery in anything if you want to.
