Anyone else have drawers full of those tiger handheld games growing up? Thanks for bringing me back.

The theme from Airwolf is a really nice touch.

Sinjin Hawk!? Sinjin Hawk!?

I had a handful of 'em zelphi. And thank you so much George_Spiggot for pre-empting my having to sit around and try to remember what that song was from. You saved me a hell of a night of insomnia.

These memories are going to make me so much more spiteful to the little bastards that play Tony Hawk on their Gameboy Advances.

Blue Thunder could so kick Airwolf's ass. Maybe not now, but still.

Most bizarre thing. In an AskMefi thread I started, Smart Daleck got me hooked (BIG TIME) on "Celestia" (a free real-time space simulation that lets you experience the universe in three dimensions). I was installing the "Genesis" satellite data addon, right when I heard about the crash.

Even more bizarre, I can't figure the point of RavinDave's post. Wrong thread?

Airwolf's theme gives it an advantage, BTW, emelenjer.
Having been a fan of both, I'm just saying...

Not to mention the Borgnine factor-

One thing that always amused me about Airwolf; the climactic air battle scene in the last act always lasted the precise length of the long version of the theme music -- whether he was dogfighting a squadron of F-16s fully racked with air-to-air missiles or some dork in an ultralight with a slingshot, victory always took exactly 32 bars. (Or whatever.)

Also, they changed the bridge of the theme (that long version used in the air battle scenes) later in the series. This game's music is based on the later one. The early version was cooler.

Busithoth ... the "solar capsule" in the game was the exact same satellite (ie: "Genesis") that I was installing. Just found it weird.
