Colorization

Israeli scientists devise new and optimized automatic algorithm to colorize still images and movies. The results are stunning (wait until gif-anims at bottom of page are loaded). Apparently you only has to scribble a color-dot onto a region to have it colorized. Can we now expect a new wave of colorized movies? There are still many classics that only exist in black-and-white. I hope not, even though the results look of this technique look very natural. [via]

When I click "the results are stunning," I only get sent to Metafilter again. Is this intentional?

Is it just me, or is the first link pointing to "www.metafilter.com?"
