To go with a MeFi cliche:
[This is good]
So much that I need to go through on here. This will keep me busy far beyond St. Patrick's Day. Thank you for posting it!

Great music links today... I don't think I'm going to earn my salary for a few more hours.

Has anyone here, by the way. read "A Drink With Shane MacGowan"?
What with all the profundities. the subtleties and the inanities, it's a pretty good read, including such gems as:
"I've been a lover and a hater of beetroot all my life"
A discourse on why Brandy (specifically) is a more dangerous drug than crack cocaine.
The story of being invited to house sit for Bono and finding (yikes) used condoms in his bed.. ----> Something like "D'ye remember when we stayed at Bono's in Dublin and we found all the used trojans in the great man's bed?"
An explaination of why all real IRA men wear Armani suits with no tie.
Tons of great stuff in there, although it's in an unfortunate question and answer format with his girlfriend.

Slainte. Good find - very helpful. And it turns out I've been misunderstanding Thousands are Sailing for all these years in the exact same way, as in "Heck, I even heard the third line as "faminished land" and took it as a reference to the potatoe famine" (sic, his spelling, not mine)

I'd forgotten how much I like the song "Navigator." Nice reminder.
