I see some bitterness in all of his stuff, but I can't view a giant editorial cartoon as being hateful of America. I mean, look at the countries that would simply kill or long term jail time this guy. He knows that too.
I like what he has done with cigarettes and fast food...finally, some truth in advertising.

*enter dios-TDDL-S@L-PP-etc to say why this person should (if not be put in jail) cease immediately because he is destroying the image of dear leaders. (R.J.Reynolds included)

That documentary came through town last year. Before he started doing the billboards, even before the pop cartoon stuff, he was a photographer doing elaborate staged scenes that screwed with your sense of perspective and reality. Pretty cool stuff. Great doc.

He's not very clever. Maybe he can get a partner with some better ideas.

meh, and that's from someone who agrees with most of the (banal) sentiments. I didn't really understand the OJ one.

TIA for the warning. Not that I have a job at which I need to behave responsibly, or anything, but my speakers were on. And really, really loud.

He's got a Surgeon General smoking warning on it, and a few of his other billboards show dinosaurs and cavemen smoking, so it must be some kind of anti-tobacco thing. Smokers are cavemen, and they're gonna ... uh ... "roll." Meaning die? Roll cigarettes? But the picture just shows them rolling downhill.
I give up.

LOL
Stop? He should keep going... it isn't the image of "dear leaders" he is destroying...

We just did a joint 'improvement' with Ron a few weeks ago. He stopped by SF for an opening of his work at the Varnish Gallery. Good guy, every time he comes out West we find something fun to do together.
