Pledge Bank is an interesting project. Promise to do something provided others will do the same. This could help to get small enterprises started, but might work for national politics as well. For example, the No 2 ID campaign is making use of it.
I like this, and it's nice to see that some of the pledges have been met.
I also like that Brian Eno is on the front page making a pledge. I have read parts of his diary from the '90s and it's filled with a really deep concern and engagement in local politics. It's very plebian in that sense, but so refreshing too.

Great idea I would love to see one of these that focuses on issues in northern california.

Appears to be the same idea as that of the libertarian Free State Project. You're only committed to moving if 19,999 others agree to do the same.
