Well, at least I found out from the Mark Foster video on the front crawl that I am indeed doing it right (except that I breathe every 4 strokes instead of 3).

That is indeed a cool link, doc. I did in fact fancy learning about the back stroke and am now off to find a spiffy red Speedo and a white skull cap. Thanks for the post.

Thanks very much for this. I am a horrendous swimmer (two near drownings haven't helped my confidence) but definitely want to improve.

Is there anything the BBC can't do?!

No kidding. Their languages section is also excellent.

Amazing how many people can't side stroke. I'm still trying to teach my wife how to swim well. Hopefully I can get her to dive some day.
