ZOMBIEGRINDER

ZOMBIEGRINDER! Only a fat man with a shotgun survives the zombie apocalypse in this Abuse-like game with a death metal soundtrack.
Abuse is a classic. I used to play it while listening to The Prodigy's "The Fat of the Land" over and over in junior high school.
This is kinda fun. I guess its the only place I find that sort of death metal appropriate.

This kicks ass. Horrible to play with a touchpad, though. I love the changes in gameplay tempo that come with the music. Makes me want to dig out the old Cannibal Corpse and Napalm Death records!

thanatogenous: I agree. The death metal isn't my normal genre either, but it works well with zombies. I got a kick out of the bullet time during the pauses, too.

I already have. I mean, it is the Holiday season.

Dug the music. Dug the premise. Dug the graphics. Didn't last five seconds. I guess I'm not a gamer.

Awesome. I like the integration of the music and the speed of play, I think that sort of thing will be exciting in games in the future, and I'm surprised how underutilized it is.

I want to comment on how well the game is designed, the subtle interaction of all the elements, etc. But I'd rather keep playing it.

Sadly, it isn't enough like Abuse to be, you know, fun.

I got to a level that had a song by "Carnivorous Erection" ... I think that means I won.

This kicks an indescribably vast amount of ass. Can we declare boo_radley the winner of Flash Friday yet?

Is anyone else's keyboard not working in Firefox or IE?
It's very hard to kick zombie ass when you can't get more ammo.

my friend was just trying to convince me that this game was the best web-based zombie-killing fun one could have; i told him it didn't offer the manic craziness that one should really get from killing the undead.
zombiegrinder has proven my point quite nicely.
unfortunately, it's hard to control on my touchpad-based lapamatop, and i don't have a spare mouse lying around, but it's nice to know there's an excellent zombie-killing game out there, takin' it easy fer all us sinners.

Although.. it's not as good as I wanted it to be. Abuse is a classic, and this is really fun for... a minute or so. But that said, it was really fun for that minute, thanks boo.

Last post, I just reminded myself of this. If any of you guys have half-life 2, check up on a mod called "No More Room In Hell" from time to time, it's a total conversion to a zombie battler where you have to barricade doors, fight hundreds of zombies with other people, etc. Looks badass. Right now the site's being redesigned, though.

Lee Marvin: your friend is correct. Another plug for the combined MoFi / MeFi Urban Dead team - if you want in, email me...

There's a Mo/MeFi Urban Dead team? I've got a level 19 military dude holed up in a mall right now fighting the Ridleybank Z's, and I could be sippin' margharita's with you lot. Dang.
